The intention of the current modifications was to uncover the authentic layer of the original house and restore the atmosphere of the 30s. For the needs of a large family, it was necessary to increase the capacity. The new layer approaches the original parts with piety and respect, but at the same time they are not afraid to assert themselves confidently.

Realization of hidden frames and doors without an upper lintel and sliding doors with a hidden rail in the project of young authors Monika and Mark from the Monmar studio. The authors found an answer to the question of how to combine the life of a young family and work. They designed a house that, in addition to the primary living area, also creates a space for their studio.

Elegance in the interior manifests itself differently in each period - the present day wishes for simplicity and aesthetic purity. Our CEO, Mr. Jan Krejčí, has something to say about it. We talked with him not only about the beauty of minimalism, but mainly about hidden door frames. They represent one of the basic style-creating elements of a modern interior, even if – as Jan Krejčí says – their main mission is not to be seen.
