Eko modular presents the possibilities and advantages of modular architecture at its family and corporate headquarters in Tvrdonice, South Moravia. The buildings are wooden buildings in passive standard, which provide a high-quality environment for work, living and relaxation.

Family and corporate headquarters in an industrial area

The vision of focusing on modular wooden buildings led Gabriela and Vojtěch Juřenčák to start their own business in 2018. "We wanted to specialize in modular wooden buildings because this construction technology made sense to us in every way. In the previous company where we met, however, the priorities were different. There was no choice but to set out on our own path." The beginnings of the great adventure were not accompanied by any capital security, but by faith in a meaningful plan and maximum personal commitment.

The production site that they found for sale in Tvrdonice was ideal in terms of the hall and logistics, but its desolate condition required extensive repairs and adaptation to the new production. During the first intensive year in the production site, where they also brought a demonstration module in which they temporarily lived, they realized that the place was close to them and, since it is almost impossible to obtain land or rent for their own housing in the area, they decided to settle in the site permanently. On one side, they are surrounded by the beautiful landscape of the adjacent fields and nearby forests of the southeastern Slovak region, on the other side is the production site, which is undergoing gradual cultivation, from which local residents also benefit. "The locals support us a lot. They perceive the development of the site, which has been in a neglected state for years, positively. You are doing a nice job here, they tell us."
