Modern interiors place great demands on working with light, airiness and overall lightness of spaces. The most prominent design trend of today – minimalism – directly tempts us to a new concept of the main building elements, including door openings. Where possible, we abandon classic profiled door frames and doors and look for ways to conceive doors “newly” and bring modern elegance to the interior.

A proven method is, of course, doors with hidden door frames, which allow you to match the door surface with the appearance of the entire interior, to make it stand out or, conversely, to make it stand out. But what if our goal is to make maximum use of the entire width of the door opening, to illuminate the interior and, in addition, to bring a truly elegant and luxurious element into the apartment?

Not only will it preserve the uninterrupted line of the entire wall, but it will also bring a completely new aesthetic to your interior - without frames and transition edges or thresholds, you feel that the door space is much larger, the entire interior becomes "bigger" and brighter.

AXON - DOORS ON INVISIBLE HINGES

Axon pivot doors rotate on invisible hinges with a load capacity of up to 150 kg, which are fixed to the ceiling and floor. Thanks to this, no door frame is needed, the door opens in the space without any disturbing elements. Even when the door is open, we only perceive the door frame and the clean wall finish.

The doors themselves can be set in a thin aluminum frame, all-glass or all-wood. They are custom-made and can have almost any size within the maximum height (up to 3,000 mm) and door leaf width (up to 2,000 mm). If we install Axon doors in the dimensions of a regular door (i.e. 800-900 mm), the hinges are placed eccentrically to make the most of the width of the passage. However, pivot doors look great and work well even in large spaces - the elegant Axon can be up to 2 meters wide and with hinges located in the middle, the door can be rotated 360°. This solution is therefore not only aesthetic, but also extremely practical.

In any case, it is advisable to consider installing pivot doors or doors with hidden frames before finalizing the shell construction or when preparing for reconstruction.
