The narrow, long and finally rounded space of the maisonette apartment creates a unique framework for this assignment. We place the technical, hygienic and storage areas on the ground floor along the long inner edge with the staircase. This opens up an interesting view across the entire carriage space, which is only interrupted here and there by pieces of furniture. A fully functional background thus replaced the original dark corridor. The switching of functions is smooth and logical. It reflects the level of intimacy - from the busy entrance to the apartment, through the dining area with a cooking island in connection with the relaxation zone of the living room, to the bedroom with an open shower and a solitary bathtub. The functional floor as a separate apartment also remains visually open. A fixed element is a sleeping cell with hygiene and a wardrobe. The green terrace embracing the entire living area enhances the atmosphere of the garden pavilion with views of the city.
