DOORS THAT MEET DESIGN TRENDS

3.10.2018 | The current trend in understanding space is leaning towards both minimalism and industrialism. By combining both styles, an attractive and unobtrusive interior can be created. Doors that Dorsis specializes in are an integral part of it. Whether it is hidden door frames, unlined casings or aluminum partitions, in any case it is a sensitively assembled product, a functional and design interior accessory.

MINIMALISTIC APPROACH

A clean, undisturbed space free of superfluous elements, details and decorations has been a trend of the last few years. In such an interior, doors with a hidden doorframe play directly. However, their ability to blend in perfectly with the wall is not their only strength. The Dorisis aluminum profile has several advantages. The Fortius 52 and Durus 45 profiles are designed so that they can be used in reverse. The door can thus be opened while maintaining the integrity of the view inside and out.

Another plus of doors and hidden door frames is the possibility of chamfering them at any desired angle. Dorsis doors always adapt to the space and can also be installed in attic rooms. The surface of the wooden door leaf can be finished by painting with high-quality polyurethane paint in any RAL shade, both in matt and fully glossy variants. However, the door surface can also be finished with veneer or trowel. The door can thus stand out in the space or simply merge optically with the wall.

INDUSTRIAL STYLE

Dorsis Digero frame partitions are a demonstration of the perfect use of industrial-style elements to create a flawless product that will enliven any interior. The safety tempered glass is set in an aluminum or steel frame and is divided into individual fields by aluminum strips to create an industrial look. A passage in the form of a door leaf can be placed in the partition. The glass door leaf can be both opening and sliding. Digero frame partitions can also be combined with Axon pivot doors. If the divided space requires an intimate atmosphere or more privacy, a divided board with a Satinato finish can be used.

SLIDING DOORS

In addition to hidden door frames, Dorsis also offers sliding doors, both along the wall and in a caseless case. This design fits perfectly in a space where there is less space and an open door leaf would be an obstacle. The sliding door leaf can be both wooden and glass - clear or sandblasted. All-glass opening doors are offered by Dorsis under the name Vitrum. These are doors with a hidden frame and can have a height of up to 2800 mm.
