Symbiosis of light and material

A new villa that sensitively follows the character of the neighborhood - both in scale and overall expression.

The architectural solution draws inspiration from the tradition of functionalist villas in Prague 6: the cubic volume is lightened by the horizontality of the roof planes, generous glass surfaces and the shaping of the loggias. The division of the mass is not an end in itself – it is based on the internal organization of the house, responds to the orientation to the cardinal points and works with views of the surroundings.

The interior follows this concept with the same logic. The dominant feature is the staircase hall – the natural “center of gravity” of the house, which connects the floors into one continuous whole. The organically shaped railing with a light line emphasizes the verticality of the space and gives it lightness; the wooden floor brings warmth and contrasts with the finely structured white surfaces. The horizontal division of the glass doors is also a characteristic motif – a reference to historical morphology in a contemporary design.

Detail as a signature

It is nice to see the motifs carried throughout the entire house in the project. Metallic shade RAL 1035 on the rails DIGERO Swing It follows the tone of the window frames and the entrance door – the house maintains a single material line inside as well. And the light that appears on the staircase as a subtle stripe in the railing is repeated on the floor: Hidden skirting board LINUS with LED In the evening, it gently illuminates corridors and landings, creating a calm, clear route.

The solution also includes unlined building envelopes BELLPORT – the passages remain clean and do not disrupt the rhythm of the walls and glass surfaces.
